Dear Friends,

And finally the 17 Star Flag,

which signifies Ohio's Admission to the Union in 1803.

While certainly unique,
there was something special about it,
but I just couldn't put my finger on it.

Then...Duh,
it hit me like a ton of bricks.

I'd been staring at it the whole time.

"Ohio"
"The Heart of it All"

The State Slogan for over 17 years.

Then two weeks later on
March 3, 2003
Ohio's 200th Birthday
it hit me again.

In Honor of Ohio's Bicentennial I sent the photo
to the Associated Press in Washington.

It ran in both the Ohio and California Regions.
