Lincoln Highway
Photos
- Here are some old and new photos from along the
road.
-
- The Lincoln Highway east of
Breezewood, Pa., Oct. 2001, from an abandoned section of the
Pennsylvania Turnpike. This section was replaced in 1968 to bypass two
tunnels - leading to the destruction of the well-known hilltop stop,
Bill's Place.
-
- These long-gone lanes were
next to the ingleside Diner. Turillo's still operates in
Jennerstown.
-
- Craig Harmon visited the
History Center in Pittsburgh, August 2001, as he made his way cross
country.
