Dear Friends,
Several weeks ago received a phone message from Lindsey Hawvermale,
a Middle School teacher (7th & 8th Grade) in Ranger, TX
concerning "A Class Project" detailing
Amelia Earhart's "Here-To-Fore..Undocumented Stop" in Ranger.
Accordingly,
"The Project"
was the result of a much bigger project & contest to enable
"Distance Learning"
between two schools using what she called
"A Tanberg Unit"
That being the case,
"The Goal"
was to create a presentation detailing
"What Made Ranger Unique!!"
During the course of discussions,
"Ranger's Role As An Oil Boom Town"
was considered but
"They Wanted To Do Something That Was Really Unique"
so when Amelia's name came up it was pretty much,
"A No Brainer!!"
Accordingly,
during the course of their study
"They Tripped Across Amelia Earhart's Lincoln Highway Autogiro Web Page"
and noticed,
"Her Ranger Stop Was Not Listed!!"
Well..
"That Just Wouldn't Do"
so that's when
"She Placed The Call"
and
"Offered To Share Their Research!!"
That being the case,
"One Thing Led To Another"
and
"As She Shared Their Story"
and
"Sent Project Photos"
which included their
"Amazing Model"
"The Idea For This Web Page Came to Mind"
as a way of
"Documenting Their Research"
and
"Honoring Them For Their Efforts!!"
And so..
The Lincoln Highway National Museum & Archiveswould like to
"Salute"
The Ranger Middle School

for
"A Job Well Done!!"
"Thanks To You"
Ranger, Texas
is now
"On The Map"
as one of
Amelia Earhart's
"Documented Stops"
during her

as

"Honor The Past-Imagine The Future"
and
