Guest of the Director
Kids,
Like I said, "And the rest is History..."
The director is quite an admirer of Mr. Lincoln.
Accordingly, we had a lovely conversation.
Days passed and I called the "Choir Hotline" to check on times for the regular Thursday rehersal.
Well, it seems this Thursday was no ordinary rehersal,
but a ticketed Dress Rehersal for the annual Christmas Concert,
staring Angela Landsbury.
Would have been a exciting performace, except they were sold out.
Oh well...
I decided to stop by the Choir office and drop off a copy of the photo as well as some Lincoln Materials.
The Director was in a meeting, so I decided to check out the view from the 26th floor.
The Utah State Capital Buiding
The LDS Conference Center...quite the place.
The Temple and Tabernacle...what can you say.
The Wasatch Mountains...breathtaking to say the least.
I checked back later and caught him with a few moments to spare.
I gave him the material and began to explain, when I saw a few extra tickets on his desk.
He must have read my mind, because he immediatly said,
"Would you like a ticket for tonights Concert?"
Show time was at 7:30 sharp.
