The exhibits have been displayed in the Gantz Gallery and it helps the visitors to experience the elements of local history along with the rich culture which makes the Nation more unique. Upcoming Exhibits At Lincoln Highway Museum
On 31 October 1913, the first ever highway connecting 13 cities was built and was named as the Lincoln Highway. The highway runs from Times Square in New York to Lincoln Park located in San Francisco. The highway was then shortened to around 3200 miles and it was being replaced by the designations after the US Numbered Highway System was established. Since earlier the individuals used to travel by train, then the idea was come up to build a highway which could enable the automobiles to travel. Since the automobiles were travelling locally but now the highway had led one travel from city to city. There have been various roadside giants of the Lincoln Highway and not just the attractions are there but also the exhibits which attract the visitors of the Lincoln Highway Museum.
The Highway symbolizes the idea of freedom along with opportunity and the highway is more about the transition. The most famous has been the rotating exhibit which the Lincoln Highway experiences and the events are displayed at the Gantz Gallery which allows the visitors to experience the elements of the Highway and local history. One can experience the rich culture also and as of now there hasn’t been any rotating exhibits in the gallery but it is expected to happen soon.
Hosting of Fred Duesenberg’s Final Journey
The Lincoln Highway Museum has been hosting the special grand opening event for the temporary exhibit and the new exhibit will be telling an amazing story of Fred Duesenberg. The Duesenberg accident is rare and the new event will take place due to the partnership of the Highway Experience Museum and Somerset County. The admission cost has been $5 per person and coffee, cookies etc shall be provided to the visitors at no extra cost.
Halloween Fest
This event will take place on Sunday on 26th October 2025 and the exact dates to it are yet to be announced.
Archie Camp
Archie’s Camp is coming back soon and there have been various events to take place.
- Monster Mash will take place on 17 October 2025 and one will see the Halloween Fun in it.
- Code Breakers and Brick Builders Day shall be on 5 January and it will have lego challenges, tangrams and various mystery games.
- Arrr-some Pirate Adventures will take place on 13 March which will have pirate themed games and activities.
- Super Hero Training Camp will take place on 10 April and will have various activities in it.
Freedom In Form
The Freedom In Form will show the video of the location to ensure that the vistors feel the presence through the personal effects, tools, materials and other work.
